A warm and friendly welcome awaits you in this Scottish Tourist Board 4 star quality guesthouse. Cartmel was built in 1976 and is an attractive bungalow set in half an acre of mature garden, 200 yards from the sea in the West Highland village of Aultbea, a small crofting/fishing community on the shore of Loch Ewe.

Accommodation:

3 bedrooms comprising:

A family room with a  double bed and 2 singles.

A double bedded room.

A twin bedded room.

All bedrooms have en-suite facilities as well as hospitality trays, radio alarm clocks, heaters, electric blankets and hairdryers. Each room is  decorated and furnished to a high standard, with plenty of space for your clothes.

There is a light and spacious guest sitting room looking out on to the garden, with colour television, a selection of books, scrabble and jigsaw puzzles.

Breakfast is served in the dining room, which has patio windows leading to the garden. As an alternative to the usual cooked breakfast (with locally produced free-range eggs), there is a choice of locally smoked kippers and smoked haddock.

Vegetarians can also be catered for.

There is off-street parking.

Please note this is a non-smoking establishment, but there is a large garden!
